The Swiss School of Management (SSM) is a private institute of higher education belonging to the Swiss Management Academy International. SSM is located on the University of Washington's campus in Rome's historic city center. We have a diverse student body coming from all over the world.

Vision: The Swiss School of Management is committed to providing excellence in international education. Through teaching methods based on the typical Swiss way of behavior, we encourage professionalism, quality thinking, and a business minded attitude. The Swiss School of Management is a place for those that seek knowledge, strive toward excellence, and want a better life for themselves and their fellow citizens.

Mission:
The Swiss School of management is an English speaking, higher learning institute based in the eternal city of Rome that aims to provide students with the highest quality international educational experience through one-on-one leadership coaching, personal development plans, and innovative educational tools to help students develop qualities that will distinguish them as leaders. Ultimately our mission is to provide students the global business competencies required for leadership and success in demanding careers in the global economy.

Why Swiss Education?

The Swiss School of Management originated in Switzerland , however the program moved its campus years ago so students could take advantage of all the wonderful things Rome can offer in terms of its cultural opportunities and metropolitan atmosphere. Rome also provides a more affordable environment for our students from college to grad school. However, the brand name "Swiss School of Management" still remains, but why?

Simply put, a Swiss education carries value.

Switzerland's reputation of excellence is due to a highly qualified labor force performing highly skilled work. The source of this reputation is what Switzerland is known for - high quality education throughout Europe.

When it comes to Nobel Prize winners per capita, Switzerland is head and shoulders above the competition - Since 1901, when the first prizes were awarded for physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature and peace, 24 Swiss have been honored.

Switzerland is regarded as one of the safest and cleanest countries in the world. It is ideally located in the heart of Europe with access to all major European cosmopolitan cities. The main industries are micro technology, hi-tech, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, as well as banking, hospitality and insurance know-how.

The mission of the Swiss School of Management is to represent these values of Switzerland and carry them out into the world.

What we look for in you

The Swiss School of Management has high academic standards and seeks to maintain these standards by recruiting high caliber students. In deciding which candidates should be selected, we look for evidence of academic knowledge in diverse fields such as English Literature, Mathematics and Social Sciences that are relevant to business studies, and candidate's interest in the subject of business, management and leadership.

Entry is competitive, and we do our best to offer a place to the applicants who are the closest match to our selection criteria on the basis of all the information available to us. This includes exam results, educational history and any other factors affecting a candidate's performance.
